Salute Gents,I am trying to get my EAW buddies into SDOE, but there doesn't seem to be an EFFECTIVE way of getting them from stock SDOE to online compatible easily. I recently had to reinstall myself, due to WWI planepack problems. HELP! I get plane mismatches after installing in the correct order posted on multiple websites. I'm having the same problem with EAW, do you know of a list of addons or a central place to download them all? TS

Ronin that is the worst advise you could give. That doccument is so outdated and just further confuses newbies. I asked tim to update it but I guess he is too busy.
The figter Squadron site contains the latest and accurate online standard page here:

Salute Gents,Only one problem with that guys. I followed those directions and got mismatches on the 190A aircraft. I have reinstalled SDOE three times now using different orders and patches and not successfully gotten it working without any mismatches. Any other ideas? JG51_GIJeff_<<+ IP: Logged |

Maybe you should remove your 190a directory under media\aircraft and then re-install the 5.3b patch. It sounds like you have an sm file in there that is causing the missmatch more than likely.IP: Logged |

You know what you should not need to remove anything. why don't you try thisdelete SDOE use the remove in control panel then go into windows explorer and delete any left over files. Make sure you have no files left relating to sdoe. Then defrag and clean your system. Install FS
then install the orig patch FS150 dos patch.
then install plane pack 5.3 should be around 12meg
Then install 5.3b patch
then install Contest plane pack and make sure it's ver 1.1.
then install nations and patch if needed. Once you have done this you should have everything you need to play on-line. If you still have probs then it's your system mate. myself and a few freinds have followed this procedure and we all work perfect. just forget about all the other addons and additions for now. if you already have the zips stored on your computer though a fresh install should take no longer than 10 min. It's the only way to be sure.IP: Logged |

I know Zoy has been really busy lately, he was asking for some help with the site a while back. I hope he doesn't end up closing it down. Just think of all the cool things he has posted there, and all the skins he has made for us.Hang in there buddy. ------------------
