Use win zip, go to "win zip classic" on startup. Now here is how I do it:Let's say it is for an SE5a
I create a media_se5a folder at the C:\ level. Put your folders in there, the aircraft folder with the aircraft files, the mission/hangar folders, etc. All that you want in the zip.
Now click the new button in winzip, name the file like SE5a_v11.zip or whatever, you can put it anywhere.
Now click to add files, browse to your media_SE5a folder or whatnot - open it up. Now click the "add with wilcard" button. The "use sub folders" button should still be chaecked - I think it is defaulted.
Now you will see a list of all files in teh archive inthe left window - you wont see folders, don't worry, they are they. The zip file is now made! Quit out.
Now click on the zip file and make sure it extracts the way you want it to. I usually have a seperate install of SDOE for testing zips - it is a bare install. This helps to find missing files or bad file references.
Done!
