Has anybody seen this already? It seems to happen to me in texture-intensive missions. Almost everytime I fly the Zero or the Dora.

Never had the bug with my old Voodoo1, so I guess it's a bug in the nVidia drivers. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Damn I never seen of heard of guys having that bug before.. nice pic btw.. it's good that you took it to show the problem... all those lines and what forms the mesh to shape land etc.... it's horrific!

My best suggetion is to see if there are newer drivers available, but also try deleteing the chache from your sdoe folder, which may just solve it if it's a bug in there, which happens some times. There are though always problems with textures in D3D.

Try deleteing the cahce files and getting newer drivers if possible, and I hope this'll solve it for you

Thta's what the TNT2U I had would do if I overclocked it too far and it got hot. Check the clock speed and your cooling. Hammerd

Big big thanks Hammerd. It's not overclocked, so I guess this particular model (Guillemot Xentor 32) comes up with poor cooling. I'll see if I can "upgrade" the cooling fan. Thanks!

Yes that's right Pachy i got the same card as you have but problem appears only if i push the core frequency to far beyond constructor specifications.
actually i'm running NVidia 368 drivers and i pushed the core frequency to 180 megahertz with no prob so far.(default is 170)
i don't even push memory clock cause it doesn't support it in any way.
i also noticed that cooler was of poor quality on that card.

Heya,

Its not over clocking. I have a TNT2 Ultra and OC the core to 165 and the memory to 200 with no problems, granted it took an extra fan but I have no troubles

I'd try a different driver. I have read that the Geforce has the above problem in some games while using certain drivers. It might be that simple

Good luck,
