How do I insert new planes into the game. I do not seem to have a Planes folder in my Media directory?

I thought that the unzip process creates all the folders you need. In any case just create a "aircraft" folder within the media folder - fighter squadron/media/aircraft and then follow the unzip directions.

I created an Aircraft folder, put all the files in there. I put all the mission files and training files in their appropriate directory. Yet I still cant get to the plane. In most instances the program just quits.

What exactly do you mean by "I can't get to the plane"? When you say the program quits do you mean the mission or SDOE? At what point does it quit? By quit do you mean CTD or freeze or what? When you say you put the files in their appropriate directory do you mean manually or are you letting the unzip function do it for you?

Most of the planes have their own training and hangar missions. Try the Hangar missions first, they are the simplist. If they aren't running then you aren't installed correctly.

ok, listen, to add new planes generally you just need to extract them to either the media folder or fightersquadron directory, in most cases extract somewhere else first and check out the readme to check installation path and see if you need to aler anything else, install one thing at a time and then check training to see if planes in there, then fly it to check it works ok, that way ,if a problem occurs you will know which plane caused it, gl.
