Hi all, I use to be up to date with all the new things out for SDOE, but i stopped because the game really didn't run that great on a 166, I just put SDOE on my new computer, and I would like to know where i could get all the new planepacks and downloads to update my game and so i could play it online. Thanks

I recomend the Hanger and Tailslkide's pages. There is an online standards page too. http://www.fightersquadron.com/standard.html

To become on-line compatible you will need the following:

install from CD

install patch 1.5 (fightersquadron.com)

install Plane Pack 5.3(fightersquadron.com) (to c:\program files\Fighter squadron\)

Install Plane Pack patch 5.3a (C:\program files/fighter squadron/media) do not go by the readme for 5.3a it's wrong.

Now you can play on-line.

The next thing you will ask is 'the guy's on-line are playing with Aircraft that I don't have. Just go to
http://tailslide.firelight.dynip.com/

here you will find most of the new aircraft including the cool WWI aircraft, just scroll down on the front page do not go into the download section.
In all cases, exept the 5.3a patch use win zip classic to read the readme and find out where each aircraft should be extracted to.
