Nat Pilot	posted 03-30- 10:47 AM well, I use the V3 2000 PCI (which according to 3DFX is only very slightly slower than the AGP Version) I use a Jet542B m/b, AMD K62 500, 64MB Ram. I usually fly full detail in D3D (cause it looks better) I'm getting around 20/25fps in my large missions, and about 10fps more if I'm lucky in standard missions IP: Logged
Jetlag Pilot	posted 03-30- 12:34 PM Bear in mind that if you push the outer fog limit back you are going to get a bigger hit on your FPS - Try playing with "FarClip" in the "sdemons.ini" - this not only pushes the outer limit of the fog further away, but increases the distance from your point of view before lods start being replaced with simpler versions. Try FarClip=2 and FogNearClip=1 to see the lod switching in action, then increase them to find a happy medium. ------------------ Jagdverband 44 IP: Logged
