I'm thinking of giving FS another try after
reading Jedi's post on AGW but I can't
figure out what's what..

There are so many files, 1.5...1.5.1, 1.5 beta 5.3 5.3 patch, which is the "current"
version of FS that is supposed to fix so many
of the old problems?

Is there a site that has a consolidation of
FS files? or some convention to the names,
as it seems that there are several different
files with similar names....

Help is greatly appreciated...

Thats EXACTLY what I was looking for...

Who do we contact to fix the link on the
FSIC web page? Part of my confusion stemmed
from the fact that the "standard" page that
you link to from the main page is out of date

Is Michael Harrison the webmaster too?

Since I'm yammering, what is the Beta in
relation to the patches? It is a BIG file
so I'm guessing that it is NOT a patch but
an alternate executable to exist alongside
the 1.5ver that the patches create

is that right? I install all of the patches
and plane packs overtop of my original CD
version but if I want to use the beta, I
have to keep it as a separate file (with its
own shortcuts etc) in the FS directory?

You are correct the beta will install and work along side your current SDOE install. You will end up with 2 exes. SDemons and App.

They will not interfere with one anohter.
