This may just be me who doesn't get it, but isn't playing FS in multiplayer very awkward?

I tried it with my friends who also bought the game (we all loved A10, so we had to), but when we tried to join up in multiplayer we got very dissapointed.

Why can't you just choose which plane you want and the hop into the air (or onto a field)?

Do you HAVE to design new missions if everyone wants to fly a spitfire, for example?

And was it just us, or do we actually get our points subtracted if we shoot each other down when everyone has the same plane? (ie. RAF kills RAF equals score deduction?)

Will there ever be a patch to make joining multiplayer battles as easy as, say F16 Multirole Fighter or even Unreal Tournament?

Yours Sincerely, Robert Hagenström

You need to design your own missions to play online or you can have them sent to you by the host of a game if you don't have it.

If you want to fly SpitvSpit then design a mission with spits in it but make some of them axis and the other allied that way you'll be shooting down enemy spits.
BTWtheres a big discussion going on about alliedvallied matchs and stuff.
If you need more help just ask!

Scan the downloads section. I think you can get a package of, like, a thousand missions or so Just identify 2 or 3 that you and your buddies will use for "standard dogfight" settings. You'll all have em on your computers and be ready to go.
