I tried to install the new build 65 the other day and I just seem to mess up every time. Does anyone have instillation instructions? I see 2 setup files within the zip itself should I be using either one of these for correct setup? Does it get un-zipped to my exsisting FS directory or does it generate a new directory for itself?

There should be only one 'Setup.exe' in the Zip file, The other setups eg setup.ini are used by Setup.exe to run the setup procedure. The setup program will ask you for your FS install directory (normally C:\Program files\Fighter Squadron) and use this to send the files to the correct directory.

Bonjour !
Normally, after the installation of the patch, you must find an app.exe in your fs folder (it's the new program name). If you run SDOEControl, Paintboy or Ground Crew to launch FS, you should rename this app.exe in SDEMONS.exe (or something like that. Check the name of SDOE program).

Also, don't load the program by clicking on the icon installed by the official patch (1.5) as it loads the "old" program if you haven't renamed it (see the above paragraph). From my own experience, it crashes the game.

At last, if you run the beta patched program, you will see at the left bottom screen a few words (don't remember exactly) telling you're using the beta unsupported version.

Enjoy and bonne chance.

Thanks I'll try again. Just got flustered as when the instll was complete I suddenly had 2 programs listed under my program files the old SDOE and a new one. I stoped there because I thought I had un-zipped incorrectly.
