gterl Pilot	posted 03-01- 08:27 AM I've recently tried to build a mission with the island map...it didn't work. when the game starts to load the aircraft, etc, etc it just crashed when it comes to load the map (back to windows desktop). Here's what I've installed so far: - PP5.3 (well and nothing else!!) In the zip-file is a data11.par ... does that conflict with the PP5.3 ???? This is especialy sad because I wanted to create somme missions with the pacific planes (well and a carrier or two..) any ideas ..please help thanks gt IP: Logged
Nat Pilot	posted 03-01- 11:58 AM hhmm... well I can't help much.. only to say that as far as I knew, data11.par was the Rhineland Winter terrain.. so we'll have a conflict of interests there..... Only thing I can suggest is mailing Jaguar direct if you need a quickish answer IP: Logged

STef Pilot	posted 03-01- 03:45 PM gterl, check your mission file again. I experienced the same problem than you. It was caused by some "corruption" of the file. gterl Pilot	posted 03-02- 02:34 AM well jag . . onestly I don't remember where I downloaded it! from the readme: "......Island Version 1.0 Last Updated 4/27/99 The Island terrain is a very small database and is being released as a Fighter Squadron add-on (in addition to being part of our OpenPlane(tm) demo) as a sample of what's required to create new terrain in an OpenPlane ready simulator....... The Island is Copyright (c) 1998-1999 Parsoft Interactive, All Rights Reserved" so I think it's from openplane isn't it??? where is yours island-map?? I would love to create somme carrier missions for the PTO!!! thanks gt IP: Logged
