i've been playing this game for quite a while now and all the time i have the same problem, the game is very temperamental and although i can play fine, a lot of the time i am getting booted back to the desktop when clicking on buttons in the game menus!.I need to know if anyone else has had this prob and been able to solve it, i'm not sure of the cause, could it be a graphical problem? please help.IP: Logged |

Actually sex, what you could be experiencing, unfortunately, is probably pretty normal.This game crashes back to windows sometimes when you're just sitting in the lobby, much less in a game situation, or trying to launch a game. You can crash back to windows, crash to blue screen, crash back to the lobby, crash with shrimp gumbo, crash with shrimp pie, etc. We're all waiting on a mythical patch, that will be provided by a Shining Knight of the Air. Which planepack?
Have you installed the patch fspatch150.exe?
What type of Video Card?
Are you using additional add-on sounds?
Add-on Planes?

Greetings SEX It's nothing new since I bought that specific
game I use to have the same fkn problem and
it's appear that since that game as been put up on the market this prob exist. With your post dated 02-27-2000 It's showing
me this fkn problem still is  I have paid big money only for that game
bougth Force Feed Back Pro joystick from microsoft ($299.00Can) I had to change(so guys advise me then)my video card($169.99Cn)
Plus the price of the game itself($80.00Cn)
and I still was boot out to desk top when at
California 12 (so I decided to shelf that game) Guys like(Michael& Kopper etc..etc..)
have work ther ass out to do patchs for this game and I never saw something like this it is like you bougth A PATCH and player themself tryed to put a gamefor that
huge patch
No mater all the work done by Michael and
others it seems they cannot fix it and that is why I shelfed the game and went back to E.A.W. It is good for making skins;creating new planes to add to the "supose" game but we canot play it lol cause you know what!!
too many patchs ha ha ha ha .
Now I am wayting for B17-II hope it will be much much beter  I wish you good luck your frustrations have just begin sorry to say The only thing which is keeping me back here

thnx, guys, yes its been happening ever since i started playing,um, rattler, i have an amd k6-2 450 with a voodoo2 and 128 ram, i dont have anything running in taskbar while playing except for logitech wingman profiler, also i am up to pp 5.3a now, again, thnx for your replies guys, happy flying!IP: Logged |

sex, the problem is with the networking code in SDOE.Michael Harrison has been working hard to produce a patch in his own time, not at the expense of Activision. Are you using the latest sound drivers? I find that graphics rarely cause UI game crashes, those are saved for inflight problems.IP: Logged | |
