I'm having a little difficulty getting the 5.3 109's to work in the sim.
The only planes I can't use from the 5.3 planepack are the BF109's. E4,F4,K4 and G6. All the other planes work fine. I have the 109E7 what works ok.
I've checked all of the 5.3 BF109 missions to make sure they're where they're supposed to be.
As soon as the cockpit screen comes up, I get kicked out to the desktop.
Any suggestions?

You should have the data12.par and data13.par files in your media directory. If you have a data14.par and data15.par file delete them. Make sure that the loadout.ppf file from 5.3 is also in the media directory - if you are getting a CTD an incorrectly positioned loadout will be the most likely issue.

Yardstick,

I don't have any data14 or 15par files. The #12 and 13 are in Media. The startup.ppf is in Media? Is that what you meant instead of loadout? Each BF109 has its own loadout file.

As it seems to be related only to the 109s, could the German cockpit folder be in the wrong place? Where does that belong?

Yes I meant startup.ppf. You don't need the cockpit folder anymore, just aircraft paint schemes. If you have an airfoils folder in ...media/aircraft delete everything in that bar the SE5a foil (if you have that).

Still no go, Yardstick.
I took out the cockpit folder and there was an airfoils folder in media/aircraft. I tried deleting everything but the SE5a foil. I tried just deleting the SE5a foil. There is a NACA109G.ppf file I tried moving everywhere. Still nothing.
I'll just try redoing everything from scratch.
Thanks for your help Yardstick.
