i am running a voodoo3 3000 agp card and i have no trouble with any of my other game
but when i play sdoe the game is too dark , i have my monitor as bright as it will go.
i have many other games and they all look great , is there any way to turn up the brightness in the game ?

There is a Brightness setting that can be added to the .ini file that might help. Check the readme that came with the 1.5 patch for the exact syntax.

Also, Spyder's SDOE Control program (1.3 currently? ) is a absolute must to help with these settings. If you don't have it, may I suggest you get it ASAP? I know it can be downloaded at at www.dogfighter.com, and there are other sites. Check the downloads and Fan Sites threads.

Try pressing alt = to up the Gamma correction (or is it ctrl =) either way, that'll fix it.

Are your other games running in Glide or D3D?
On V2 and probably on V3 you can have different gamma settings for each. Changing the Glide setting to run SDOE will not affect the gamma settings on your other games if they are run in D3D.

Possible fix and it doesn't require your monitor to be on full bright for everything else.
