My allied pilots aren't showing up! German is OK. What's the pilot folder supposed to look like? Right now it's a bunch of tif's and sm's, some labeled germ...or g... but nothing that looks allied. What could cause this all of a sudden? How do I get my allied pilots back (I believe the US and UK pilot are the same).

Without them G force has no affect and you can't bail, so it's not just visual. Can't get killed either which ain't so bad.

Me too, Jerry.
Looks like they went over the hill and I don't know why. Can't think of a reason for this. Anyone know? Could it be one of the beta planes doing this, other than beta planes I am setup for on line standard.

Pilots are back.

I had modified the pilot folder when I installed the He162.

So I renamed that pilot folder and replaced it with the original pilot folder and booted SDOE and they came back. Have not installed the newest version of the He162 to see if the allied pilots disappear again.

Ok, installed the newest version of He162 and the allied pilots stayed at thier posts.

Now I'm really confused. Where did you get the "original pilot folder" to reinstall?

I renamed the current one like you said and rebooted SDOE and the pilots did come back, but there is no "pilot" folder now. Was there one before the He162? I don't remember ever seeing one. And why would loading the He162 modify (corrupt) the pilots?

The pilots are back and that is the important thing. Thank you silas for fixing that. But I don't understand what happened.

If the He162 install caused the problem shouldn't we post a general alert or email Panzer and Roadtoad? From the lack of response (my plea for help went 3 days without an answer) no one has seen this thread.

Thanks again.

Jerry:
I should have said the pilot folder I had before I installed the He162. He162 had new files for the pilot. I had saved the old folder.(it some times pays to backup, hehe) After I got the pilots back in the game I installed the latest or what they are calling the final version of the He162. The pilots stayed in the game as they should so I think all is well now.

You know; Jerry, I can't at this moment remember where the folder first came from.As far as I can remember that is the only plane the had new files for that folder. I'm pretty sure that right after I put in the beta files the pilots flocked off.
