Is it possible to have a one way transport mission? i.e. take off at one air base and land at another. This is the scenario. During an air raid get the bombers off the ground and run like hell for safety. Fighting your way out of course. I put 1 way point in hoping the AI would land at what I thought would be the end point. The bombers that didn't crash turned around and headed back home, and then usually crash either circling or trying to land. AI really has a hard time landing bombers at Beja.

Is there any way to set the take off times?
I've tried to launch 2 squadrons from the same base. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't

How many planes can AI support?
Either I overloaded it or Ai crashes a lot.

Does anybody fly late night? (after 11:00 pacific time)

thanks guys

As far as one way missions- I don't think you can do it. If humans are flying, then you could put it in the briefing and they would land, but the AI always ends up back where it started- it's a shame we can't change that. Can we, MH?

Take off times, no. But you can set the bombers up on different runways. If you set their headings right (Pete Hawk had this worked out for all the airfields in Dover and Africa)- then two (or three) squadscan take off from the same field.

I don't know about the # of planes AI supports- it probably depends on your system.
As far as late night flying like that- I don't think too many do- your best bet is to give a day or two notice and say you're going to be on at such and such a server at such and such a time- usually someone shows up then as long as you're there. If no one shows up after 15 mins, you have your answer

Yeah just adding one waypoint is actually two as there is always a return path to your starting point.
On the delay though I did achieve something along these lines months ago. What I did was place the #1 waypoint as close to the planes takeoff point and gave it a time of xxxx seconds and 0 altitude. The planes do begin to roll till they reach the #1 waypoint then they sort of hang around or go in slow circles until the time expires. After this they attempt takeoff.
On other experiments, only the leader actually took off and the ai followers just followed the leader on the ground slowly, I suppose this might be useful for a squad of tanks to make them appear to be on the move.
I'm sure if you play around with some things you might find something that works in a fashion.
