BULLET Pilot	posted 01-29- 08:08 AM I need help with the mission ed., I've checked most of the links and haven't found what I'm looking for. I seem to be unable to get the new missions to run on or off line. I can't even get them into the media or multiplayer files. So guys, what am i doing wrong? Are there any instructions any where for the mission ed.? By the way, I'm a graphics guy, got a degree and everything. Making new skins sounds like fun. If someone wants to tell me where to go and what to do, I'm all about it. thanks IP: Logged
Mirthain Pilot	posted 01-29- 11:00 AM Ok, when you go to save the missions, you need to save them in the fsdoe\media\missions\(dover,rhineland,africa,multiplayer) folder. Put them where you will use them. If you want to play the mission online and offline, then save to both the folders that apply. I.E. dover and multiplayer. For skins, get one of the template files from FSHangar or one of several other sites. The skins are Tif files, so open them in your graphics editing program and have fun. ;} Downloading some of the skins that have already been done will show you what goes where and give you some good ideas and how to name the files for the different planes that are out there. nuum Pilot	posted 01-30- 02:37 AM Bullet Here is Sv's answer in another post : ----------------------------------------- To edit the skins for the SE5a look here: Fighter Squadron/media/aircraft/SE5a/textures/ The files you need to edit are: wings.tif fuses.tif DmgWings.tif Dmgfuses.tif The Albatros Dva is not finished yet, but you can make new skins by editing: Fighter Squadron/media/aircraft/AlbatrosDva/textures/ wings.tif fuses.tif The damaged verion parts are not done yet, but the mapping of the wings and fuselege will not change. Let me know if you have any other questions.
