I just created a mission using the Dover theatre and when I fly it, the flak bursts appear as black, square blocks instead of puffs of smoke. What's weird is that in my other missions, the flak appears normal. Also, I have specified a Mosquito to bomb at a certain waypoint, but when it gets to that point the AI never does anything. Any ideas on either one of these items?Thank, G-man P.S. Does anyone else have a problem with this bulletin board remembering your profile? I keep selecting that option but it never retains it. If you have a video card with less than 12 or 16 MB, this is likely to happen if you fly a mission with lots of different kinds of planes/objects or are using add-ons that use a lot of texture memory (such as my realistic cockpits). When the video card runs out of memory, you end up seeing the untextured polygons of whatever objects could not have their textures loaded... thus the big blocks.

Thanks JT. That's probably it. I do have a 16mb video card but this particular mission uses 5 different types of aircraft (13 total) and several ground objects. I'll try reducing those numbers and see what happens.G-man IP: Logged |

The types of planes you put in are important as well... the cockpits of the Spit V and IX, 109G, and P38- along with all the tiffs for the 17 cause a lot of drag on framerate- I try to keep only one or two of those fighters mentionned in a mission at a time.As far as the Mossie targets- for some reason, a few of the targets on the map don't show up as targets...like the headquarters in France- for some reason I can't get anything to bomb it- so I use a trick Jaguar taught me- Put something small near the target- so if those above headquarters are German- I'll put a Hanomag near one of the buildings (how else did the bigwigs get there?)...then in the properties section- I'll rename the ground unit from Unit 1 (or whatever comes up) to "Headquarters" so when you are in the game- your target shows as "Headquarters" for your bombs. Mossie bombs don't do a lot of damage- (although they'll do enough to blank out the truck)- so keep your Destruction Factor low- otherwise while you may have the truck set up as 100% and it blows up- the headquarters won't be 100% gone and people will wonder how the hell that could be...I usually use 30-50% and it looks realistic.
