Folks:

I may be buying a full install version of WIN95 or WIN98 soon. Does anyone have any recommendations between the two in terms of how they run SDoE and other games???

Thanks, Ronin

Ihave 98 and I haven't had too many problems different from what everyone else has...I have never tried it on 95. When in doubt, go with the most recent I would think.

I started with it on 95, now have 98....only thing I see as different is that with 98, add on cards and peripheral setup is a bit easier; a bit, not a lot. If you are using fairly recent video/audio/control devices, or anything that needs driver updates frequently ( like everything, heh heh), then 98 probably better choice.

If you are using a P2 or higher, then 98. Period. 95 doesn't have native USB support and the bus drivers are completely different. On older P5-P6 systems, 95 is the better choice.
