becksteveo Cadet	posted 01-03- 07:35 AM I've been experimenting with SDOE since Xmas and love it so far. I finally have my joystick working well and am fooling around with the 'Scramble' missions. The one thing I have to say I'm disappointed with if the documentation that comes with SDOE - It seems like you have to rely on trial & error to figure out what lots of the commands do - I'm having trouble getting the nack of finding, selecting, and thereby shooting at, the targets that are out there. I can see them on the lap map, find their range and aircraft type using the 'c' overlay - any hints? Is there a good place to go to get the nack of the other overlays, targeting, etc?. Seems like I end up looking back & forth to at the lap map,zooming in & out on the cockpit views and flying around in circles 'til I get close enough to see a target. I can't fugure out what most ov the overlays the key map says are there do for me. (sure would be nice to have Radar!) IP: Logged
Sv Pilot	posted 01-03- 07:56 AM The most important thing for me is the tag-overlay. This will put a text tag over the enemy and friendly planes - you will be able to see the planes very far away. Use Alt-V to toggle tags on and off. ------------------ -Sv =FC= WWI in SDOE! IP: Logged
