Last night I tried another monitor setting (SVGA 1024x768 @75Hz) and this works with the nVidia Driver (V 3.53) but there are the same graphic problems. (Also deleted sdoecache.tex)

I use an Elsa Erazor III Card with the Riva TNT2 Chipset and 32 MB.

I think I give it up (before I´m goin completely insane) and play FSSDOE with these graphic "bugs" - but all the TNT Guys out there :
can someone send me D3D settings wich works good with FSSDOE ?

Laika, What kind of bugs are you getting? Also, what type of monitor and CPU do you have?

CPU: AMD K6-2 400 Mhz

Monitor: "Socos" Noname product - no drivers,no inf files - nothing, but it works good in 1024x768 at 75Hz (with standart SVGA drivers)

Graphic Card: Elsa Erazor III - Riva TNT2 32MB

The "bugs": some layers are flickering (the yellow disks below the gunsight in gunners position and in the cockpit), some strange transparet things at the shoreline (mostly dover), the cliff texture on the dover coast
"moves" like a running image on an old b/w TV screen (I really dont know how i should describe thís effect)

heya,

I have a Creative TNT2 Ultra 32meg. Have you tried updating your drivers?. I've not seen the "yellow disk", but I've seen the "jagglies" on Dover. What I have found is that if I tweak my card for the best graphics and run at a lower Screen res, the jagglies go away. But for online I tweak it for better performance. Also overclocking your cards chip and memory helps alot. But watch the heat.

Your card might also be getting too hot. That causes some wierd visual things to happen. After o/c my card I had to add another fan to it.

Really other than the Jagglies at Dover, I've had no trouble with the TNT2.

Oh, do you have DX 7? That will gain you a little more performance.

Thanks for the tip Zoycite, but I´m a bit afraid to crash my system again (wich actually runs since 1 day without problems (execpt FS)) . Maybe I´ll try DX7 later.

The "yellow disk" is not a bug, it is installed in the cockpit below the gunsight (I dont know the name for that part...) and it looks corrupted. The "Jagglies" dont appear in the Beta Patched Version, but when I fly very high the strange transparent things are visible over all terrains mostly in front and beside the plane (could this be a bug with the props?) . I think I should test FS a few days to find out when and where this appears.

And hey - my card didnt got a fan (I´ll try to find out if I could install one).
