OK. I took the ATI Rage 128 back to the shop and change it into a ELSA ERAZOR III (and pay 50 Marks extra). After 3 hours fiddling around with W98 the card works fine - FS doesnt. The coastlines (Dover) and some other stuff still looks corrupted (for me it looks like a clipping error or something with layers :?) In the next hour I tested all D3D settings on the card - a lot of system crashes where the result.

I also tried out the newest nVidia Driver but it doesent work with my Monitor (build in the Stone Age...)

All the other games are workin fine and stable (EAW...).

FS 1.5 is playable but if someone knows how I can fix the graphic error(s) - please help!

Hmm thanks for listning to our advice, It may be giveing you probs with this but it should be a better overall card by far.

What chip is that card based on? TNT2?

Give us more info and the TNT guys should be able to help ya.

I'm a voodoo guy myself so i know nothing about tnt2 except that its a good card.

ah 1 idea man
go into your media DIR in Fighersquad dir
and delete

sdoecache.tex

that could help , you should do it anytime you change vid cards

as a matter of fact anytime i have any graphics probs with SDOE i do that
