I am reposting this message as I first posted it in the general information area. I have been flying SDOE since it was released,(thanks to all whom have made the sim what it is now by the way!) and have had not problems. Until, that is I decided one day to try different resolutions to find out if one was better for viewing enemy aircraft while sitting back further(zoomed out) in the cockpit,as I like the looks of the cockpit wrapped around me. After trying all the available resolutions, I had to settle on zooming in a bit and sacrificing the gorgeous cockpit art. The next time I went online, My radio message fonts had the left half missing, making communication with other players impossible! I have tried all the obvious fixes thanks to some suggestions from helpfull forum contributers but still have not been able to fix the problem.

I have even deleted the sim, gotten rid of any left over files I could find, and reinstalled, to no availe. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this? It takes all the fun out of flying online when I can't read messages from other players while flying!

I have a CL TNT card and had some problems with distorted text in the game and what i found was this...
My mipmaping method was set to 8-tap anisotropic, so i changed it to bilinear with 6 levels. this drasticly improved my text in the game.
I'm running at 1024x768 res and to tell the truth I still have a hard time with the text, its always been kinda crapy and the fact that there is no radio buffer just kills me. I can never keep up with what is going on in the game. I hope this helps you some.
