I'm having a terrible problem with lockups and am trying to find the cause (which may be directx7 but maybe not as I seemed to have no problem after installing it intitially). I've notices that some of my aircraft folders have these tmp.ppm files in them that I never noticed before.

Does anyone know what they are?

There are a PPM files (Portable PixMap) I used to generate in earlier versions of OPS before I figured out how to make DirectX Textures directly. I doubt they are your problem and you can safely delete them.

Thanks Bryan. I couldn't understand where those files were coming from.
