Being located in France, I am using the french version of the mission editor. When
creating a new mission, the ground objects I have put on the map are not saved when I am saving the mission file. (Opening the mission
file again, ground objects have disappeared).
Anyone can help me ? Is it a bug of the french version ?. May I get the US version ?
Thanks for your help.

This problem came up awhile back. I think I documented it in the Handy Dandy Doc.

I seem to recall it has to do with the fact it saved the objects with an accent on the name. When you open them up again the code doesn't recognize the accent on the name of the ground object.

Since you can understand English, a workaround for the moment is to open your sdemins.ini file and change the line "Language=langFrench" to "Language=langUS"

That will cause the Mission Editor and the game to use English text and will get around the accent problem.

BTW, Michael I did use this tip to have the game in english, but for some reason, the font display is quite less good with english text.
Any clue?

The font display in English uses the same font but a larger point size. It shouldn't have any other differences though.
