OK- I am not sire about where exactly to put the tiffs? Do they go into the Media/Missions/Africa folder for Desert skins...and so on? Do you have to put them into a textures folder first? I know there are some instructions in the file itself, but nothing seems to be happening with the skins changing...is there a certain way to be opening up Chameleon? Should I stop asking questions and let someone else talk? Are we "brown-nosers" as Dole calls us just because we stay faithful to a game we love? Do I really care what anyone thinks anyway as I am not impressed with EAW,CFS, or any other game out there but this one? Will John really leave Marsha to run off with Hank? Stay Tuned for these exciting answers and much more...!!!

When you ran the util for the first time it created 4 folders for you.
The names of these are:

Africa
Dover
Germany
Rhineland

All you need to do now is put a tif for each plane you have in those folders.
This means you can have 4 tifs of any scheme per plane type.
Put a desert skin Spit11.tif in the Africa one and a Spit11.tif with Battle of Britain scheme in the Dover one etc. Do this for the Fw190/Ju88/Lanc and so on.

If you unzipped the util to the correct folder, ie Fighter Squadron, then that's where you will find those folders.
Anytime you want to change your schemes based on the mission your're about to fly, just alt tab to the desktop and select the theatre you want and instant camo change.
Hope this was clearer, I'll get someone to rewrite the instructions next time!

You can only use the plane tif names as per the standard sim plus the Bf109g tifs right now.

It won't matter if you have other plane types as they are referenced by name only and just won't be copied over, the other planes are to be included in the next release.
Have fun.

I ran into trouble trying to get the B-17 skins going. They have more than one .tif but I tried with all of them and with only the main one, but nothing happened. I also ran into this same problem with a coupla other planes. Is this just something that can't be done right now, or am I doing something wrong? Also, maybe I'm just thick but whats the Germany folder for? Just an extra in case you want an alternate theme to play with?

BTW, AWESOME job Spyder!! This is the first time I've really had fun with skins cause it was just too much of a hassle before.

I don't know Kopper, I would have thought under the Help section might be more appropriate.
