All this GeForce 256 hype is starting to get to me
. Thinking bout breaking down and getting one in the near future. One question that comes to mind is the terrain problems with SDOE and the TNT. They don't seem to like each other very much. Will the Ge256 rectify this problem or the fact that it is still a nVidia chip still have the same effect on SDOE terrain? Are there any plans to make SDOE terrain more compatible with TNT cards? If not, will this problem persist in Project X and Y?
I guess while I'm at it I might as well add another gripe
. Is there any hope of getting the MSFF stick problems addressed? I've tinkered again and again with the sliders on SDOE control 1.3 and have worked with the program over at stickworks. While it does make it a little better (emphasize little) I still seem to have to trade off between extreme twitchyness and full deflection of control surfaces.
With all that being said I really like SDOE alot. I think its the best looking thing out there (including the yet to be released sims, ie B17II and fctoe) and its soon to be the best flying one.
Thanks in advance
