F-ing typical. First they waste money taking away our military base (oops, did we go overbudget moving everything to the only Liberal stronghold in the west?), now they're slicing off a chunk of one of our oldest regiments. I'm beginning to think it's Ottawa that's a "distinct society" - just don't get me started on what makes them so distinct...  "A report from the Edmonton Sun newspaper says the advance party waiting to deploy in Afghanistan is actually on the chopping block. The party is made up of members of the Third Battalion of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. The Sun says the PPCLI is short of funds. The Defence Ministry is reportedly considering disbanding the battalion to save money." WM ------------------

The Conservatives here are Socialist F**ks just like the Liberals. Wanting to disband 3 PPCLI doesn't surprise me at all. The Socialist F**ks have been eroding our military for 30 years. Look how fast they disbanded the Scairborne because of criminally incompetent Officers and Senior NCO's. The CF is a civil service job just like any other government dept.IP: Logged |

Sunray, I don't understand if you don't like Canada so freaking much (I've never heard you say one nice thing about it) why don't you move to the US? Hell people in the USA always say that so I'll try it the other way around Yes it sucks ass and all that crap.

Same reason why, when the Berlin Wall fell, many East Germans came to the west, partied, then went home. Asked why they would ever want to go back, they said because its their country and if they don't help fix it, nobody will. It's a small step, granted, but holding the government to account so long as the ignorant masses in Ontario and Quebec keep putting them back in office represents the first step towards fixing this country. Now if Jurassic Clark becomes a real political force in this country, then we are done for. WM ------------------

I get what your saying WM, but I have NEVER heard Sunray say anything he actually likes about Canada and living here. We all have problems with our countries, but everytime it comes up in a topic we don't slag all over it. He truly seems to hate Canada. I just want to know why? Do you just hate the present(and past it seems) goverment? Or everything? I personally don't have a big problem with the goverment, but I can let stuff slide that I guess others can't. Sure theres lots that pisses me off about it but there will always be something that does. IP: Logged |
