Win98 SE is reporting both of my hard drives as 1.99 Gigs each in certain applications. (For example the Recycle Bin alloted disk space menu). But in Explorer and My Computer, its reporting the correct amounts. Does anyone know why?? And how to fix this?? Also, if I try to install a game above 1.99 Gigs, it screws up badly...

Help please!!!

Rendsburger, its a new board (ASUS A7V kt133a) so yes it does. But just to be on the safe side, how does one check in the BIOS?

Wow! Same at my machine (1.99 Gigs at the Recycle-Bin-menu). Never noticed that before Seemes to be software-specific and according only to the recycle-bin cause I never noticed any significent lack of system speed. Maybe the Recycle-bin-program is simply not able to handle more than 2 gigs of data. Iīm sure, Bill fixed it at XP Good reason for an upgrade
