I read it when it first came out so it has been several years. It wasn't up to Clancy's normal writing. A good read but not as thrilling as most of his books. I do like the John Clark character though, in some ways better than Jack Ryan. Read "Without Remorse" to find out how Clark started his covert career. It's a prequel to all the other Clancy books.
