semmern, if you would read Spanky's posts in Flame Wars about how he wishes the US gets into another Vietnam and that we get our head handed to us, and how the US is too cocky and thinks it's the shit, and other statements defending the actions and threats of terrorists by making the US the bad guy in world politics, you wouldn't have to ask that question.IP: Logged |

semmern, there many people here that don't like each other, I don’t see you asking them, why are you asking me, why don't you ask the Spanker. It would seem the person caught throwing the second punch is always at fault. I have my reasons and I don't think that should involve you. I know what your response would be if I didn't say it first; because you bring it to us! Well when someone like that fool is stupid enough to post some of the pro-islam-propaganda (or many moreover anti-American) as he has then he opens the door to attack. You don't have to read the stuff I have on my mind and if it offends you I suggest you don't. This is not your fight so don't make it that way  P

No, not Islam specifically but terrorism as a whole and I think it’s just. I haven’t liked what I been seeing in recent years, not only in America but North Ireland, Africa, Palestine, Israel, Kuwait, London and the list goes on and on.
I’m not a person that likes violence and don’t condone it in any way but, when someone attacks you, you know what you have to do. We all have people (you and me) that don’t like us but that doesn’t mean (for me) that I go around trying to provoke them to violence and I’m sure you don’t either. I’m really sickened by this world and the seemingly aggressive micro powers that have nothing better to do than kill the innocents that make us feel like this life will come to a happy conclusion. I believe that there are people (even where I live in America) that are overwhelmingly jealous of those that have something that someone else wants. It’s a poor statement to any who call themselves civilized.
I would like to see world at peace but when the innocents died I knew that there was no longer a chance. Kennedy’s, MLK, Viet Nam, Cuban missile crisis, the loss of innocents in this world has been fairly short lived but the lasting effects are consequential. And now were here, the WTC destroyed without provocation and it caught all of America sleeping. We would not be forced to react unless someone came looking for it. If this is truly the “Holy War” then I will have to conclude that this will be the last war. If you consider the determination of Islam and their hatred of America then this will be the worst war that has ever been seen on this planet. I’m still praying! IP: Logged |

I don't recall seeing a specific apology and besides, his remark was consistant with his attitude toward the US as expressed often, long before 9/11. He has always felt that America is full of itself and cocky and is to blame for people not "liking" us. That we throw our weight around and act like the world cops. That our way must be wrong since it angers some people.
Spanky recently has stated, several times, that the US needs to change it's ways and make people like us and we wouldn't be attacked by terrorists. In other words, we are at fault that a small group of extremists attacked us. Spanky thinks that appeasement is the answer, that if we acquiesce to their demands and get out of the middle east that all will be right with the world. If this isn't supportive of the terrorists I don't know what is. IP: Logged |

Pachy, that’s just part of the passive aggression that Spanker uses to create turmoil. If I were truly remorseful and sincere about regretting a statement I would remove it. But in his case he gives and takes but to take back some of the stuff he’s said is impossible to forgive and for me it has created an irreversible animosity. So what!!!P IP: Logged |
