During the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, and from what I understand with members of the royal family in view, the band did NOT play "God Save the Queen". They did something never done before. They struck up the chords to the "Star Spangled Banner" and played our national anthem instead during the changing of the guard. When they did the camera panned the crowd and I couldn't see a dry eye anywhere. This one act goes beyond words indescibing how the British feel towards us. I am both humbled and comforted by the acts we are seeing all over the world showing support for us. I don't think Great Brittan could have awarded any higher honer, any greater show of respect than this. To my friends in GB, please make sure youre countrymen know how much this has meant to us.
