Come on over to IL2 and get with the real thing.
This sim is just a toy, no matter how much you put into it, it sucks overall.IL2, Try it youll like it. BTW, There has been a "Maaco" sighting in the IL2's skies and I shot her ass out of the sky and spit on her ashes. Biaatch!! Prop out! While I agree that Il-2 is great, saying that SDOE is a toy shows either that you are completely clueless or that you are just a troll. I haven't decided yet which description suits you better. Maybe both?-Gecko IP: Logged |

Propwash - how can one game be more 'real' than another? By definition they are all toys because they are 'games'. Unless they are used for hard work and input to improve something that one enjoys, or to make money, in which case it is a 'Hobby', or a work project, and therefore ceases to be a toy.

IL2 has some very good aspects. My son in law who has spent many hours in a combat trainer flew the demo, got up and said "That sucks. *That* does not feel like normal flight at all..." (He had been flying the P39) (Yes, he _does_ think that SDOE more closesly matches reality)Dont flame me, these are not my words. I am just passing them on. Just as SDOE has its loyal band of followers, so will IL2. Is SDOE dead? Not yet. But I remember all the good work you did early on in the sim. Dont put down the people who continue to do work. BTW - I have some news for you. IL2 is also a toy. A game.

I'd post something nasty and mean spirited, but after a day like today it's not worth the trouble, quiet simply prop, we've all heard about IL2, most of us have the demo, so I reckon that since we're still here that must mean somthing, now go play with your new toy, we're happy enough where we are, and those that know you better I'm sure are happy that you're enjoying yourself over there, thanks for the invitation though.~Nat~ IP: Logged |

except Mr washedout 
IL2= (I)t´s (L)aughable 2, might be great for your expectation of a flying experiance
but we know what we´ve got here...
