Like I said, it's called Xtreme Air Racing . It will be in Australia somtime next week if you're lucky. And those planes are not very stock ones, the Corsair's rear decking is probably lowered a lot to decrease drag, and there aren't many other stock Corsair parts either, most of the internal stuff has been changed, swapped with light alloys and carbon fibres and stuff like that .[This message has been edited by semmern (edited 09-11-2001).] IP: Logged |

NEXT WEEK!!!! SHIBBEEE!!!!!!!Thanks Semmern. The corsair in the picture should have a bubble canopy though shouldn't it? If It's the recently restored 'super corsair'? Biggles IP: Logged |

Correct, the canopy and deck is all wrong on the Corsair. Go here to see the restored Super Corsair http://www.dreamwater.com/nx13688/corsair.htm Paul www.rcwarbirds.com

Whoops, yes, if it's a Goodyear F2G then it should have a bubble canopy. Rather big blunder if it's supposed to be the same plane.IP: Logged |

I was on the team that made this game but needed to be paid. They paid me by giving me a copy of Multigen Creator but of course the license ran out after a time. Very nice people though. I did my part by painting the white P-38 in the game (actually adding more details to it). I would have done much more but was in need of money for various things, this being one of them... a Porsche 917 replica. I hope to pick it up in a couple months. I've just been to the website and I'm hooked, and i haven't even played it!I'll be ringing around all the loacal games stores to get myself a copy ASAP! Are there any sites with a list of planes in the game? The mix of GeeBees and P-82's and Shindens is just amazing Thanks for the heads up Semmern! Pete, looks like you guys did a bloody good job! Also, i'm not too much of a car enthusiast, but that Porsche replica looks pretty sweet! Biggles

Biggs, I think that most of the planes that compete at Reno for real also are in XAR, so if you find a list of planes competing at Reno, I think you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect.IP: Logged |
