Hello everyone, On sept 15th I'm going to get the chance to fly a SNJ-6 Texan WOO HOOO!!! My grandfather gave this to me as my birthday present, this is got to be the best present ever. I get a 30 minute flight, I can choose to do acrobatic/combat manuever or just take a nice easy flight, it also gets video taped from three camera's and I get to keep the tape. Once in the air I get the chance to take control of the plane and flt it!!  Not sure if the pilot gets to do all the combat manuevers or I get to do a few. I want to at least try one manuever. Either way it wil be awesome. If I get any still photos I'll post them on here. I can't wait.  ------------------

You will never forget this experience. I did it a while back and it is awesome.Yes, you will get to fly several maneuvers. (Loops, rolls, wing overs, even stalls)The pilot will fly it first, explaining what to do. Then it is your turn. He will talk you through it. Have fun and enjoy it. Man I am jealous already. That is great to know, I was really hoping that I would actually get to do a few maneuvers myself, thanks for letting me know about that . I was reading about the pilot and the company that run these warbird flights, and the pilot said people who play combat flight sims have a better idea how the planes handle. Hopefully my three years of flying SDOE will pay off ------------------
