OK, get this, I'm watching the US TV series "JAG" right now, if you've seen it you'll know that they flash up a time and location at the bottom left of the screen sometimes.. OK get this, I'm X Brit Army, and as far as all of NATO knows Zulu time is (for want of a better explination) the same as GMT, so anyway, these JAGs are in the US investigating somewhere at night, and it flashes up 23:20 Zulu and the location.. now, unless the world suddenly shifted it seems to me like something of a cockup here because it couldn't be nighttime anywhere in the USA when it's 23:20 Zulu.IP: Logged |

Nat, it's written for an American mass audience educated by our great public education system, by writers also educated by our great public education system...and you expect accuracy? No one on this side of the pond probably noticed. IP: Logged |

hehe that is crazy, I never noticed that actually. I do think all people should adopt the 24 hour clock though. This crap with AM/PM is so stupid. No more messing up your alarm cause you set it to 6pm instead of am. IP: Logged |
