Would you mind going to www.beat106.com, getting into their site and clicking the "click for non stop beat 106" link at the top? Then let me know here if you hear anything or if you get a "service temporarily unavailable" message in your realplayer window. In either case, also please tell me roughly where you're at (country is fine, if US or Canada state or province to narrow it down a bit). How come? This is my all time favourite radio station and nearly two months ago I suddenly couldn't access the RA feed anymore, from work or home. I'm trying to figure out if its just me or if they've cut off the service because of bandwidth usage. Thanks in advance, Werner ------------------ Abbeville Field: Dedicated to the SDOE Experience. Depending on where it broadcasts from, several months ago, the evil ones from radio land decided they weren't getting any money from internet broadcasts. So the nice people who broadcast ragio programs over the 'Net had to stop. I was under the impression it was only Stateside that did this but who knows. It was very sad when I could no longer listen to weather reports eminating from sunny climes while knowing it was snowing outside.IP: Logged |

V - there's a comma in that URL and there shouldn't be www.beat106.cmo the site is there. Sunray - is there some news report on this someplace, that's huge! Internet radio was supposed to be one of the great features about the net. The part I don't get is why, if the stream is gone, they still have all the links to be able to access the stream still on their site. Werner, it's beat106.com not "cmo". Anyway, my Realplayer just sits there in "buffering" mode. No sound. IP: Logged |

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help. I don't know if Code Red is responsible, I kinda doubt it because its been like this for a couple months (as in 2) now. LOL Commando Werner ------------------ Abbeville Field: Dedicated to the SDOE Experience. IP: Logged |
