I just got a GeForce2 MX400 AGP 64mb card. Its GREAT!!! Smooth, compatible, cheap and fast. (With new drivers and a tweak utility) Only one thing that annoys me soo... All my games are TOO dark!! The desktop is fine, but in-game its WAY too dark. On my old Voodoo5 there were sliders to adjust this in-game brightness but in the Display properties. And you could adjust Direct3d and OpenGL brightness settings seperately. Is there anything like this for a GeForce card????Thanks in advance! IP: Logged |

I have an Asus V7700 GeForce2. I can adjust D3D and OpenGL seperately and save different settings for different applications. SDOE is dark for me too, especially in D3D, with my monitor brightness maxed. I have to tweak with my video card. Are you opening "Advanced" in Display Properties to get to your card adjustments?IP: Logged |

With my GF2 MX, same problem. With a earlier set of drivers, I had gamma settings screens that could be set/saved for individual games; with the set I have now, that is no longer offered. I still have access to my Glide card; in Glide, gamma is fine - in D3D with the GF, too dark - with OpenGL with the GF, I have hit a happy medium. Apparently they did away with the card gamma settings after 6.50 or so..
