This is an excellent movie. See for youselves how futile the war on drugs really is. This movie does it like none other that I've see on this subject. From corruption to the seduction of the not so innocent. Even the most innocent being lured into the darkest side of this world. Really guys rent this movie, you won't leave the TV...P IP: Logged |

Agreed....the wife and I saw it on Friday....in the beginning I was wondering about the different plot lines-- but the transition to match them up was very smooth.------------------ Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless! Jeeves =FC= IP: Logged |

I watched the original on TV, I think it was a 3 part or 4 part mini series from england. Very good stuff. I might check out the new one, but I don't think it will compare, and will probly come off too hollywood after watching the other one. IP: Logged |

I know how that goes Spanky but if you measure this one on it's own merit I believe you will find it quite detailed. It is a long movie as is, bout 3 hours I think and hey, it won 4 Academy Awards...P IP: Logged |

It wasn't a typical Hollywood movie as far as I am concerned-- it was pretty heady stuff at times. I suppose the end may seem a little Hollywood-ish, but it wasn't a typical movie by any means!------------------ Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless! Jeeves =FC= IP: Logged |

I thought it was a good movie too, but I also want to mention that Steven Soderbergh's cinematography was excellent. There were many times where I thought "Damn, that's a cool shot", such as when the helicopter was landing in Mexico City. IP: Logged |
