If anybody ever wants to know, feel, or recreate a bombing mission in Vietnam then buy Phantom Over Vietnam by John Trotti. About half the book is devoted to just one bombing mission and you would not believe the detail he goes into. Its so well done you really feel your in the cockpit. When I read it I actually got excited just as we reached the target area and at the end of it when he shut the engines off I felt as if I was tired after completeing it with him!
Not many books have ever made me experience something like that. Buy it.
