Well yeah, I was. It's here in Oslo now. Came because the Queen needed escort . Anyway, I was on the ship. Sadly, there were no Harriers there, only Sea Kings. Can't quite understand why, because the Harrier is quite an unusual plane, and it would have been really funny to sit in one, or at least get to inspect it up close. I had a look at the Vulcan cannon mounted starboard of the ski jump ramp, though. Nifty weapon, i'd say . I bought some really cool pictures of the ship, a side view of a Gannet and some good ole atmospheric 'planes in the sunset-' pics.------------------ Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings. Sunwards I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there. I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air. IP: Logged |

Sure I can. But I'm scannerless, so I'll have to get my dad to do it at his work, so it'll prolly take some time.IP: Logged |

I was on HMCS Ottawa one time. No way you'd catch me being a Boat Person. Six officers share a closet sized room for the duration of the cruise. That and the Boat People always get mad at me when I say, "Shiver me timbers."IP: Logged | |
