This is in regards to Rowan's Battle of Britain sim. Seems that chances of a further, sorely needed patch may be dead, with Empire apparently releasing Rowan. While this is still a unconfirmed rumor, recent emails between some of the pilots of BoB and Empire staff ( including management ) indicate that suddenly, no further patches are expected. This may be off-base, but lack of news has several worried. While it is likely a fruitless endeavor, one member set up a petition to forward to Empire asking that the more serious campaign, AI, and other bugs in the sim be addressed. While I do not believe these do much good, I signed it ( I also signed the one for B17, even though it is no longer on my HD ). If any of you wish to do so, I would appreciate it if you would try to add your signature to this petition. The URL is http://www.petitiononline.com/BoB/petition.html Thanks for any consideration you can give this..

1. If these software companies would release software that works there would be no need for petitions and such. 2. However, you're right. It'll do no good. 3. If the game doesn't sell well they won't spend the time and money to fix it. See line 1.IP: Logged |

Yes, Sunray, agreed. Actually, points hashed and re-hashed over almost all recent software in nearly all genres.Still, some of us can hold out hope. A point to ponder...every time we boot up SDOE, we see a sim which is indicative of what can happen when a user community sticks together and lets themselves be heard. I think WW2 Fighters and Falcon may be classed the same, and maybe even B17 2. It is just too bad it may even be needed. But lots of signatures now...thanks to all of you who may have read this and responded. Who knows...maybe the right pieces will fall together. At least we know that people like O. Maddox, et al, are following things like this and are aware of it. Thanks for your input.
