Pay per view movies here are cheaper then going to the rental store, and give you access to any time the movie plays in the next 24 hours. And you don't have to leave the house. BUT we don't get discovery wings here. Sucks. Heck in this town we don't even get speedvision. Unless you have sat. IP: Logged
Zurawski Pilot	posted 05-21- 10:41 AM Depands on who you ask.... It's the first channel I flip to when I turn on the set. I always pull up the digital guide and skim to see if anything I'd be interested in is coming on and will se the VCR to tape it etc... My WIFE however hates it when she turns on the set and Discovery Wings is the first thing she sees! IP: Logged
Gunner Pilot	posted 05-21- 12:47 PM I watch it sometimes, but not as often as I use to. They repeat programs far to often. I know there is allot more material than what they show out there but I continue to see the same programs over and over. Personaly, I would not switch just for Discovery wings. Diego Lozano Pilot	posted 05-21- 05:21 PM I leave that channel on in the background ALL day long here at work. Digital cable will obviously give you more options than just a channel addition. For example how many HBOs do you get with analog? 1 maybe 2. With digital we are offering over 12! We get the east coast feed of all of the HBOs wich means that we get to watch The Soprano's much earlier! Get digital...your cable company will make you change over eventually!
