I've only just been able to start playing CMR2 because my old PC didn't have the horsepower to run it, but I have now. Thing is, it ran for hours without crashing before, but now it locks up totally after about 10 seconds, no matter where and with what car. No patch can fix it. Tried reinstall and all that. And I can't set the car detail to full. I guess that's because of my Voodoo 3, but is there any way to set the details to full, even though my card may not support it??IP: Logged |

Play it on your PSX  Runs great, great control and pretty good graphics for such an old machine. Other then that I have no clue. IP: Logged |

Hi semmern,the thing is, CMR 2 doesn't like the new Voodoo 3 drivers. From what I've heard, I think it works with the 1.04 or 1.05 version. Also, it's natural that you cannot select the highest detail options with the Voodoo 3 because it doesn't support textures larger than 256x256 (which is basically all that the higher detail is about). -Gecko IP: Logged | |
