I'm thinking of getting the GameBoy Advanced when it comes out. Check out the videos of some of the games, we are talking SNES quality on a game boy sized machine! Try to guess the 3 titles that have the most appeal for me.....

JP Park Builder
JP Primal Fear
JP DNA Factor

and maybe F-14 Tomcat.

Yep, looks like a pretty cool machine. I love playing all the old genesis and SNES games emulated on my dreamcast. Some of the old style games are still some of the best. However, the gamecube is still holding my attention. That machine is going to blow the disappointing PS2 clean out of the water!

I have a disk full of old games from the nes and gen on my PSX.

I think the game boy advanced is a little underpowered if its only SNES quality.

with the right materials I could easily make a portable PSX, that was just a little larger then a normal portable CD player.

ANd I'm not talking portable like a PS1, I'm talking hand held.

Burkey I'm not sure I can even consider a system that DOESN'T have Gran turismo 3 and Metal gear solid 2.

We shall see though, as long as it caters to more then kids, then I'm in.

It does sound like they will be too, they said they realize that there audience has grown older.

Yeah, Metal Gear Solid could kick start things, wish I had one to play that when its released. The gamecube does look like it will have broader appeal than other nintendo consoles, though I still think some of the kid game themes are deceptive and hide some of the most enjoyable games available. I LOVED Mario 64 and Zelda.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I don't even mind kiddie games, I have croc and spyro and a bunch like that on my sony cause they are fun for everyone.

BUT nin is hurt by the kiddy image and I like mature theme games too.

Like I said NIN has admited that they are going to try harder and proved it with conkers bad fur day.

About metal gear solid 2, I played the demo for it, and even though its only a couple hours play time at most (it can be beaten in mere minutes if you knowwhat your doing) Its pretty much the best game of its type I have ever played and even thought its on a TV the graphics blow away pretty much any game I have played.

IGN said that it blew them away and they didn't think they could be blown away again.

But then again at this E3 they saw stuff that again had them with their jaw on the floor.

Even though you don't own the system you deserve it to yourself to at least rent a system and play metal gear solid 2 and gran turismo 3 when they come out.

They are both AMAZING games.

They are the games that are going to live up to all the hype of the PS2.

If I have the money and the systems have th games I would buy all of them.

I didn't buy a n64 cause I didn't see enought games I was interested in to warrent a purchase and I despise the controler.

with the dream cast I also hate the controller.

THe PSX dualshock (wiht the analog sticks) and the new version of it, the dual shock 2 with fully analog buttons all around, are the best controllers on the planet to day, bar non.

If sony released one for the PC I think they would make a killing, but maybe they are afraid of competeing with themselves.
