Well guys? ALso tell me why please.

Mine would have to be CFS2.

Why?
-Least buggy (Surprisingly)
-Best looking graphics
-Runs very well on a lower end computer (No major stuttering, slow-dows or jerkyness)
-Best graphics (All around)
-Best sounds (Also least sound anomolies)
-Best FM of the WW2 flight sims released so far...
-Its open to user mods
-Its Pacific!

Mine would also have to be CFS 2. And it will be Il-2 .

Why it's CFS 2:
-What Argon said!

Why it isn't B-17II:
-Needs three times my system to be ran.

I'm shameful for saying this, but I kinda like Nations - Fighter Command's graphics, especially those stunning lighting effects, but it falls short everywhere else, although it has an Me-163. Heyyyy. We have one as well.

For me, it has to be Battle of Britain from Rowan, because first, it runs for me, and second, it is the only sim to portray the theater and planes I am most interested in. CFS2 ranks a distant second - still have it installed, just don't fly it much, the theater bores me. It runs great, but had to do a lot of tweaking...as much as BoB, in fact. B17II was ok, ran fine right out of the box for me; enjoyed the graphics and acting as a gunner, but the rest didn't hold me at all. Also tried a few of the Online pay ones...none of them held my interest long. All had/have bugs in one form or another.

Actually, that is true...though all have been within the last 12 months. The only true 2001 release, really, has been BoB ( the USA release, LOL ). And the SDOE 2.8 beta patch...which could qualify as my favorite 2001 flight sim release!

Don't have one, in my view there weren't any good WWII releases this year. I bought some great flight sims this year though.... and so far the best one I bought this year would be Flanker 2.0 (upgraded to 2.5 ofcourse). It kicks everythings ass besides SDOE. My dad even loves it, and coming from an retired fighter pilot, thats a high mark. Sorry couldn't be of better help.

I'm impressed with a lot in CFS2. I even tried painting a few skins for it. Messing around with those made me really appreciate the original artists, but it makes you think of them in any game. I still get nervous when landing(crashing)on the carriers.
