FYI, I've downloaded FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE (just the 'bin' initially) and got that running with PPP working. Then ftp'd and installed the man pages, doc, src, crypto and rebuilt the kernel - so far so good. The next hurdle is trying to configure sendmail so that any external mail sent has has my real email address as a return address and work out how to collect from my ISPs mailbox. Then it's on to Xwindow.... ulp! IP: Logged
