Wow, did you guys see the pic of the guys who landed a damaged plane? The pilot and gunner get out of the plane and run from it, then it blows up! So freakin' cool! Look at the newest development update. http://209.198.154.6/il2-e/boards/forum/default.asp?bid=41

This looks amazing. this game on its own might actually persuade me to upgrade. Would a P111 600 with a Geforce worth about 150 pounds (say $300) run this like the screenshots? It really looks streets ahead of anything else. I'm sure you've seen them but check out screenshots here: http://www.bluebyte.net/il2-e/products/screenshots01.asp?id='' IP: Logged |

Think you bettah have a lot of RAM for this baby. Man, is it going to be cool!!!! I'm soon gonna build my own puter, and I'm gonna get 256 or 512 megs of RAM, solely for running Il-2------------------ Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings. Sunwards I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there. I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air. IP: Logged |

I agree Pete! And working wires/ropes and rocket engines... that would be fun!BTW I'm not really sure, but weren't those rocket engines emitting white smoke and not the kind of greenish seen in the pics? But I suppose there may have been different versions... IP: Logged |

I know, that's why I didn't post the "flat looking tires" pic. I figured someone would complain. But heck, for what they've done so far it's going to be a FINE sim! IP: Logged |
