I've had my Sega Dreamcast for a long time now and paid $200 for it. Now they can be had for only $99 at most places and the game prices are even dropping. Here are some games I have for it that are just fantastic.Aerowings 2... This is probably THE coolest jet sim/game I've ever played on any system including the PC! The feeling of flight is so fantastic. The planes (like the F-15) have a great feel to them, nice and heavy, yet respond like you think they should. I love to do touch and goes and watch the gear struts compress, it just looks so fantastic. The aircraft models are gorgeous. The game itself is mostly training to dogfight and then several dogfighting missions. I only have the demo but will be getting the game this coming week. I can't wait! You can fly F-14s, F-15's, F-16's, F-18s, F-86's, and some Japanese jets as well. There is also a carrier to launch and trap on as well. Awesome view system, replays, etc. Test Drive Le Mans... such a great racing game, great feel to it, great replays, that I ordered the video "Le Mans" in which Steve McQueen actually raced. Great movie! Love those Porsche 917's! Virtua Tennis... Hands down the best Tennis game ever on a console or PC. So fun to play. I could go on. If you want to read more about any of these the best website is www.ign.com on the left click on Dreamcast and then click on Reviews or Previews and find the game you want to see. There are great articles, lots of screenshots, and even movies (MOV files) to watch. IP: Logged |

TS,Yeah, I knew that. Can't believe it, it's such a great system. Nice and smooth fps on most games (60 fps). What are some of your favorite games? IP: Logged |

I just bought aerowings 2 its an exellent sim. You might get a little tired of trying to get all the planes like me.So here is the cheat to get all the planes:go into the area where you can choose free flight , options etc, hold L and press x=y at the same time a noise will sound if you do it right. There are tons of planes its great! IP: Logged |

Thanks Mr Jones, yeah I saw that cheat already and am ready to punch it in when the CD gets here this Wed or Thurs.Glad you like it,I'm sure I will too! The demo is giving me plenty of fun and that's just with the 2 jets and the prop plane. IP: Logged |

Pete the only problem with this is Sega announced the cancellation of the Dreamcast and all future hardware over a month ago.In the announcement they said they would be drastically cutting the prices to clear out all in stck inventory. If someone buys this now, it's a dead end road. Several game comapnies have dropped all development of new Dreamcast titles. Most companies will finish those they already have in development, but the prospect of them doing future titles is slim. This was published in the Wall Street Journal. ------------------ "Where'd he GO!?!?" thunk-thunk-thunk-zing-OUCH That answered my question IP: Logged |

Jug,I know, already knew about that. But it's such a nice system and the games I mentioned (plus several others I didn't) are just a blast. For the price it can't be beat. And if one goes to that site I mentioned there is a very large base of people to swap games with for it and all consoles and PCs. I really don't get the PSX2. From what I've seen, I'd rather wait for the X-Box. That sucker has some serious horsepower! IP: Logged |

I've had the first one for a long time. It's fun but I really like flying around the "pattern" and practice landings in the Aerowings 2 demo. The full game should be here tomorrow or Thurs. Can't wait to try the carrier stuff.I it for a game with a guy on that www.switchhouse.com site. IP: Logged |

Yeah the carrier is great in aerowings 2. The f-14 is probably the most challenging to land on the carrier, i think . The f-104 is also a bitch to land !Its great. Any other games you guys recommend for dreamcast? IP: Logged |

I have Test Drive Le Mans, it RULES! So fun to race!I'm getting Test Drive V Rally next. As you probably know, many of the Test Drive titles were crapola, but these two are an exception, they are VERY well done! Btw, I get all of my info (well most of it) from www.ign.com in the Dreamcast section. Great reviews and previews, plenty of screenshots and lots of downloadable movies too.
