Werner - I don't think so. Closest thing would be WWIIOL or Battlefield: 1942. BF42 seems interesting, since you can be either a GI, drive a tank, control a warship or fly a plane!!IP: Logged |

What do ya need next gen for? PE is all i need in a tank sim. just wish my machine could run it just a couple FPS faster. Steel beasts has been out for a while and people are liking it, have you checked that out? Too bad its a modern one though. Still very cool, i'm just more of a ww2 guy. plus you can make your own mods for panzer. Infact I might try that. Might be easier then making planes.

Yeah, not into the Steel Beasts. Saw the screens though and thought they might use the engine to do a ww2 sim. If there's a mod I'll probably buy the game. I would get PE, but those sprite-infantry just **ss me right off, I don't know why. I guess imo either do the job well or don't do it at all. I realize they did it because top spec at the time was less than it was now, hence why I figured there might be a new sim coming out.As much as WW2OL really caught my attention, I can't afford P2P on a long term basis. What is the link to that BF42 you mentionned, semmern? Is it boxed or like WW2OL? Sounds like it has potential. Werner ------------------
