For Jeeves, and anyone else interested.
Hear are the B-17's in CFS2.

This the famous the "Texas Raiders" B-17 of the CAF.

A different paint scheme for this one.

There are a couple of others, though no aluminum finishes. These may not be as polished as in other sims but they are very nice to fly and land.

The R4D6 or C-47 is an Admirals Transport and is an outstanding airplane!
The model is the best I have ever seen.

It has photo-real cabin and uncredible cockpit/panel.

Like B172, you have to go thru a complete startup proceedure and it gets very involved.
The effort is well rewarded with its own soundpack and great handeling.

Well enough of me. Look for your self.

It comes with a full manual to answer all of the questions like, how do I start this damn thing?
And has an exe format for easy install.

If you don't have it, get it!

Enjoy

Gunner

Okay- the C-47 is cool, but the texture on the Fort looks like something out of a Saturday mornig cartoon. Plus, although the engines are very nice. The rest of the plane doesn't look right. I prefer these.

Yes Jeeves,
The same. And Jug, I'm not pushing the game.
The question was asked, "how do they look?"
So I thought I would post them for everyone to see.
No, you can't jump from station to station and stuff like that but still, they are not bad.

Wow, very nice. Of course the panel and cabin views are just 2D not 3D, but they sure look nice. Couldn't we do the same. Make a solid wall behind the cockpit and testure it with a picture like that. I will have to look into that.

Argon,

You can get them at: http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds?ZpwaG0fB=main/forum.htm

You have to register and then you do a CFS2 search on the "search file lists" area.

Allot of stuff to get.

Oh, it is a RD46 and not RD41 like I listed earlier.

Gunner,

Can you email me that RD46? I can't find it anywhere on that site.

Thanks.
